📚✨ Dear Readers, welcome back to another month with My Sister’s TBR! And boy did we have a packed month! Between traveling, working and family engagements, I don’t know how either of us found the time to read. But rest assured, we have plenty of books to discuss…
I wanted to take the time to thank all of you again for your support. We have been doing this podcast for over a year, and every month I find myself blown away with the amount of listeners we gain, followers on Instagram, and overall support and comments we get from our listeners. We hosted our first live episode this month and while the turn out was low at the time (due to a technological issues with our Instagram live), it was still an absolute blast to connect with you all and share our episode unfiltered, uncut, unedited. We will be doing more of this in the future!

THE DUKE AND I by JULIA QUINN
April’s featured read was the first book in the Bridgerton Series by Julia Quinn. Regency Romance, full of banter, tension and swoonworthy moments. This book reads easy for anyone looking for an entry into Historical Romances.
In the rigid world of Regency London, Daphne Bridgerton yearns for more than polite conversation. She's witty, kind, and well-liked, but lacks the allure that attracts suitors. Simon Basset, the aloof new Duke of Hastings, has no interest in marriage, haunted by a bitter past. When their paths cross, a mutually beneficial scheme is hatched: a fake courtship to boost Daphne's appeal and shield Simon from matchmaking mamas. But in the glamorous and deceptive society of the elite, their pretend romance blurs the lines, threatening to defy all the rules they thought they knew.
“There were rules among friends, commandments, really, and the most important one was Thou Shalt Not Lust After Thy Friend's Sister.” - The Duke and I by Julia Quinn
Wondering what we thought of it? Interested in our comparisons to the Netflix series? Make sure to catch Season 2, Episode 8 for all of our thoughts, praise and qualms.
