New Year, New Us ✨
A fresh chapter for My Sister’s TBR
There’s something about January that makes us want to reorganize our bookshelves, romanticize our planners, and convince ourselves this is the year we finally stop dog-earing pages (no promises). And this year? We’re turning the page on My Sister’s TBR with a few shiny updates we’re very excited to share.
Same cozy vibes. Same sister chaos. Just… a little glow-up. 💅📚
The Big Plot Twist: Screen to Page!
If you’ve been listening for a while, you know we love a theme, and Season 4 is serving one of our favorites yet.
This year, every featured read will have a movie or TV adaptation, and we’ll be doing what we do best:
➡️ reading the book
➡️ watching the adaptation
➡️ lovingly (and sometimes dramatically) comparing the two
We’re talking:
What worked beautifully on screen
What should’ve stayed on the page
And what changes had us whisper-yelling, “WHY would they change that?!”
The schedule stays the same, so you can keep your listening routines intact. We’re just adding a little extra ✨cinematic flair✨ to the conversations.
New Look, Who Dis? 🎨
You may have already noticed...
We’ve refreshed our logo and branding, and over the next little while you’ll see it slowly rolling out across our socials. We’re going fort a more polished look, branding that matches where the podcast has grown. Still cozy, still us, just with cleaner lines and a little extra confidence.
(We like to think of it as a soft launch glow-up, not a full personality change.)

One of our biggest changes this year? More video.
Because Rebecca will be close by for parts of the year, we’re leaning into video a bit more -- meaning you’ll get to see our reactions in real time. Faces. Expressions. Dramatic pauses. Probably some aggressive hand-talking (looking at you Stacey).
Yes, there will be subtitles.
Yes, we’re already embarrassed.
Yes, you’re going to love it.
You’ll still get the audio podcast you know and love, but now with bonus visual chaos sprinkled in. Growth! 📈

We’re keeping some surprises up our sleeves (because where’s the fun without a little mystery?), but here are a few adaptations we are itching to dive into this season:
People We Meet on Vacation – friends to lovers, emotional baggage, and now a screen adaptation? Yes please.
The Hunger Games – revisiting Panem always hurts in the best way.
The Housemaid – thrilling twist, on the edge or our seats, and how could we forget Brandon Sklenar?!
The Love Hypothesis – grumpy x sunshine, workplace romance, he FALLS FIRST. Come on. Obviously we’re doing this one!
